If you happen to have a military affiliation, there's a Navy base just a 25-30 minutes north. They have a BOQ, but I took my RV there during upgrade, it was great; gated community, WIFI, commissary, Exchange, Class VI. Traffic was never a problem and its definitely a safe location.
I've spent a good deal of time around that base and this is a great option if you don't want to spring for the crashpad. My guess is that they're charging $60 a night.
My crashpad only costs $250 a month, but that's sharing a room in a crashpad...
