Unless we were to cave on scope or if they were serious about getting something like the e195 or A220 and wanted to know the labor cost before the purchase agreement, there isn’t very much incentive for them to spend more money. The union has made it clear that relaxing scope isn’t even on the table, and the company doesn’t seem to be all that interested in the 100-120 seat jets. It would be nice to have a contract but unlikely for a year or two. I’d sure like to be wrong about having a TA to look at this year though, but I’m guessing late 2020-2021.
