You will be scheduled for the actual written a few days before the end of the course. Make sure to get/negotiate a good time to take the test. Depending on what sim schedule you get you may end your last sim session at 0200 and have to take the test the same day at 0900.

I had already been studying for 2.5 months for the ATP written before I showed up to the class. I studied every night after class as well. I used Sheppard Air, used their strategies and passed. Two guys in my class began studying two weeks before showing up and they passed as well.

Good Luck!

Thanks. My recruiter told me that it’s up to me to schedule the test when I get home from the course. They’ll reimburse me for the cost. Apparently, I go home for a few days before I go back to IAH to start indoc.

I’ve been studying for the last two weeks or so. Just gotta keep grinding it out.
