To the OP;
Again, I would not try another 121 until you do a transition course or get a type on your own dime. You don't want to make yourself "unhireable" with another 121 incomplete.
I'm not saying an older guy can't do this. It's just harder with your background and you've obviously struggled.
This is a great job and I want you to stick with it and come out winning. You just gotta do it smart.
And another thing, YOU are a terrible judge of what went wrong at Skywest and Gojets. YOU don't really know if just one more sim would have made it work.
Put yourself in a training program or type program and let the pros tell you what's going on, but please don't burn your bridge to 121 by risking a 3rd incomplete 121 program.
