UAL doesn't need "recruiting events." We're in a pilot shortage. The applicants will come to UAL. No need to go fishing, when the fish will come to us.

So, begs the question....why show up to any recruiting events

The obvious answer is "optics." It looks good to look cool. It looks good to be at these events for PR purposes. No other answer would be honest.

Is there a generic recruiting event, or do you have to fit into a categtory?

Not a fan of Bebe. She says whatever is politically convenient for her bosses. She's not a trend setter, she's a trend follower.


The major league baseball teams don't attend recruiting events. They don't even hold tryouts.

Want to make the team? Make the grade!

It doesn't matter who is hosting the event and for what cause they are raising money. you heard that right?

Just make the grade, earn your spot, make the team.
