The LCA who signed me off on my MD-88A OE asked me to meet him in the hotel lobby to "go over some FOM stuff" during our layover. He spent 10 minutes out of our two hour FOM review telling me not to let the FO's wear a non approved jacket during walk arounds (even if it is raining).

Did you tell him you're off the clock and any review he'd like to conduct you'd be happy to get paid for?
