Only five months ago a family member flew Spirit and had her checked bag misplaced, never arrived at the destination. 18 or so hours later it was delivered to her address, almost 50 miles away from the destination airport. She even received "live" updates from the contracted delivery service. Had driver's name, car details, and was able to track the location.
