Albiet the commuter hotels have been a blessing, and a game changer; allowing us (commuters) to more freely pick up OT, and not bang out or find a reason to ditch a trip when an overnight cancels, or we get stuck with a non-commutable trip.
There's a reason all of our bonuses, commuter hotels, LGA CA forced upgrade perks, ect are stuffed into temp LOA's; They can be ended overnight, and all we really have beneath the surface of glitter and cheap Dollar General makeup, is the sh!ttiest reserve and pay contract in the regional game.
This is all mostly true. I will add that our contract is a “bankruptcy “ contract and all the loa’s are out in to help the company get pilots in the door or to keep them there.
Yes you read that correctly, AA has record profits and we are still under the umbrella of a bankruptcy, concessionaire contract.
