Well, let's hope for your sake you'll be assigned the 737. A/c assignment is based on age, so here ya go. But sometimes, i.e. this summer, there wasn't any 737 slots available.
On the other side, there's plenty of Delta mainline flight to SFO or to SJC, so you should be alright. It's a long commute, but that's what you've signed up for
