As an organization, we have a process to express our displeasure. Show up at an LEC meeting and when the call for new business is made, submit a resolution to recall the committee and have the MEC chair clearly state that the new uniforms failed to win the hearts and minds of the pilots.

The uniform committee and MEC got this horribly wrong. And yes, I understand the embarrassment the MEC will have during contract negotiations when they are forced to admit how out of touch they are, and in reality didn’t represent the membership.
That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. There are many pilots who have actually said the opposite, that is their opinion and they are also entitled to it. If the group as a whole shares your opinion and the MEC decides on a change then so be it....that's all part of the process. That said, a proposal to recall a committee (and in essence the MEC since they are the ones that made the decision) for selecting a uniform you personally do not like is a wee bit of an overreach.

As I mentioned before, I'm not in love with the new uniform.....especially the tie. I also know the tie was not something the committee had influence on. Minus the tie, I don't know what grounds you can argue that it is unacceptable. You may not like it, but it's certainly not unacceptable from my perspective.
