Reserve has been negotiated for over 3 years and end result nothing. Just like our amenable period coming up, zero cost neutral must be the end result. So how do you get gains with that, you dont. Besides are you not all spouting people are off reserve in 6 month average, no capitol should be expended for reserve rule changes if 6 months is the average a pilot spends on reserve. I don’t think you are seeing the story from the right angles. As for protecting flow, the MEC leadership already has done that. It’s time to move on as we all know the main focus of the last loa was to get the PP’s gone. That’s been done and it’s working.

The union did the right thing we the rejection yesterday. In no way should we have given the company a pass on grievances that would ultimately come back to hurt us just so that we could continue to talk.

The blame falls squarely on the company for this one and it shows how they really feel about our pilot group.
