Dude here's the debate:
You think the most effective way to "fix" this uniform issue is to go and file some resolution at the local council meeting showing your displeasure with and desire to recall your uniform committee reps.
My position, as well as that repeated by the LEC, MEC and Co., is the mass filing PDRs with our displeasure over the uniform as presented. This process is not to change the contract, recall committee members or any other hospitality suite/smoke filled room deals that may go on at the meetings. It is, however, the most effective way for the rank and file to let them know our displeasure with something.
The PDR system has been shown repeatedly its effectiveness in all that I have previously mentioned and posted from both opinion and official sources.
You reject that and keep singing your song about going to the meetings, presenting some resolution with a dozen pilots there, waiting for the process to make it to the MEC meeting where it is promptly shot down or tabled until the next meeting.
File your PDR, call and or text your Rep and complain more on social media. Yes that has been proven to be very if not most effective.
Even our ALPA National President is seeking better communication methods and recognizing the power of the internet and its communication power.
Now if you don't believe me consider "the wall," where and how that is being effectively debated.
Move into the present day wax; use the tools.
