Saw the memo about changing the text message address for pairing alerts, so I changed them. Curiously, the instructions were to change the address to your number , ie
[email protected]. ( instead of @sms.att.net.) Now there is a good 20 to 30 minute delay for alerts, including test messages. Anyone having this issue.

Everyone is having the issue. ATT. First identified around mid December. Workaround is to use an email for the alerts. Preferably one that "pushes" notifications to you like an iCloud email does.
