Nothing - if you're a 7-year Eagle FO or 4+ years into the right seat like your friend at Comair, or if you're making a move for QOL reasons only (like a domicile closer to home). I simply hate the mindset
some pilots have of making a bunch of lateral moves in search of that fast upgrade. If someone has the attitude that they're entitled to that left seat or too good to be an FO, then everything is wrong with that...and we both know people with that attitude.
You gotta admit though, most everywhere (other than Eagle) is or will be upgrading pilots under 3.5 years longevity very soon.
