Flew a three day trip over the weekend and saw the pilot and station personnel uniforms in person. Not my favorite but neither in the uniform that I'm wearing now. Tie not bad but the blue suit is a bit too royal for my taste. Whatever the case, measure me, ship it to me, and I'll put it on and go to work as if nothing changed. Will continue to focus on a new contract and not some silly argument about blue vs black, silver for gold, wide vs narrow stripe, etc, etc. Who gives a xxxx.
Sing it, Sister!! I’ve seen it live a few times now. It’s nothing that I’m going to give myself a hernia over. The hat is too tall, but the wear tester said he was told that was going to be corrected. The tie isn’t as garish and bright as I thought on Flying Together. I’m seeing a lot of plum ties out there now, so I guess that’s the “thing”. What do I know about fashion? I’m a pilot. Most importantly, FUPM. Pay me enough and I’ll wear my pajamas to work if that’s what they want.
Hell, it looks less like the uniforms I see at pretty much every regional, so I’m for that.
