Maybe you didn't read my post. I said instructing is helpful and useful. However, once you get to the airlines it's a whole new game.

Instructing makes you into a more well rounded pilot. An airline pilot in nothing more than a pilot flying for an airline. Yes, the learning curve is steep for everyone, but the more experiences you bring to the table, the better.
