Hello Everyone,

I have been searching the forums and the general web for opinions regarding job prospects if you are currently in military reserves. My question is mainly geared toward the major airlines as I feel most regionals would not care in today’s market.

I am concerned that airline recruiters may look down on reservists because of potential scheduling conflicts down the line. What are your views on this? Also, if there are other reasons recruiters may look down on military reservists, what are they?

I would like to believe that being in the military reserves would actually be a plus in airline recruiter’s eyes, but I would like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this because it has been a concern lingering in the back of my mind.
