As a pilot for a renowned airline, I can say that Moe96 is giving solid advice that even I would personally recommend. In fact, despite the fact that he disclosed that he wasn't the best person to answer the OP's questions, it seems that he has provided better advice than the majority of the garbage I found on this website. The only thing he was “wrong” about was the direct entry PIC statement he made. I wouldn’t expect a freshly minted commercial pilot to be familiar with a 121 reg. It was quite funny reading the replies he's gotten that have contributed next to nothing.

Regarding the rest of the people in this thread, I wouldn't be surprised if they were kiddie simulator pilots on VATSIM that all of sudden think they are qualified pilots after spending $35 on a joystick after that Christmas sale at Walmart. Stay in your lane kiddos, get back to getting denied from your online fantasy airlines.

Last thing, I take it you don't read much? He clearly disclosed that he was not yet a commercial pilot.
