Your understanding is not correct. The immediate contribution is for any AA subsidiary (any AA WO). So any flow will get the immediate direct contribution.
What if you get hired outside the flow (slim though the chance is) from a WO, do you have the same retirement travel benefits credit and first year 401k contribution?
