I know that talk is cheap at APC but I do remember one regular PSA contributor making a statement that (approximately) stated the new reserve rules would be so advantageous to the pilot group that round 1 eligible pilots would be deferring for a reserve line. None of what I have read so far would make me voluntarily pick a reserve line. What say you?
So far I’ve seen people get the run around from scheduling when they’re assigned hot on their last day of their RAP. Even tho we were given on “good faith” that they won’t do that. As well as junior reservists double deadheadded to an outstation whilst senior reservists who selected first out sit and stew.
I’m hoping as we get closer to the electronics behind it being finalized it’ll start to pan out as promised. I’m keeping the faith. So far the new leadership has come through on the promises they have made.
