This will depend on the system bid and created vacancies. Currently most hiring is in the 190. Many of the 190 FO's can't get off the thing fast enough (pay raise). The 190 training school house is packed currently dictating vacancies on what they are able to do. This is not the norm at JB. Soon required vacations next year will require staffing increases as well across all bases and seats. This will also be dictating 190 CA movement to 320 CA (who also can't get off the thing fast enough (pay raises), which will open the flood gates for more 190 training. See packed school house above.
We are interviewing at least twice a month Jan-June (back to back dates) as well as starting to add more dates. They are increasing capacity of how many we interview a day as well. This is a great time if you wanna get hired at JetBlue. The next year is huge for synergies gained from required staffing levels due to required vacation.
The number always change. This year just like others are all over the place. I have heard as low as 260ish (less than we hired last year) up to 400ish. My money would be on 375+ understanding that not all vacations will take place the first week of Jan 2020. The most I have ever seen since I have been here was 430 ish in 2014.
Video screens will be the first thing that you see from us as far as the interview process. We will not send out video screens from the new application window until it closes and looked at.
Hope this helps. If this is where you want to be its a great time to get hired.
