Seconded on the limitations knowledge. The very first thing they do on day one of systems is hand you a quiz that is effectively all of the knowledge on the handout. Know that cold before you hit systems so you don't look like an untrainable dummy.

The quiz is not a pass/fail thing (or so they told us). Apparently it's used as a benchmark of your knowledge at that point. You'll take the same quiz toward the end of systems and the combination of the two quizzes will give the training manager an idea of whether you have 1) studied in the first place and 2) learned what you didn't know up front. Why is this important? Because if you are struggling later on it will give them a better idea of whether to help you or not. You have to meet them half way and study these limitations before you show up.

That said, I did not bother to study the QRC as I did not expect the quiz and felt I would pick up the QRC later in training. Fortunately the second quiz I aced because I had studied it by that point. Don't repeat that mistake. Be ahead of the game.

And speaking of the QRC, note that we just got a new rev of that that includes, among other things, a "holy **** my EFB is on fire what do we do with it" checklist. If the study guide does not have this updated revision of the QRC on it, ask your recruiter to get you an updated copy. No sense studying an antiquated QRC.
