The amount of negative advertising and actual harm which will be done to 9E makes the whole DGI program just a waste of time and money which will actually become a negative recruitment tool.

There is no way they will be able to put a positive spin on the ratio of between 100% interviewed to 50% hire is better than the street ratio. It may be better mathematically, but that is one difficult sales pitch for recruiters.
I would say scrap it but half the guys that go to the interview get something out of it. 50% aint 0%, to be concise. I just don't wanna hear pilots cheerleading this thing anymore. It's another thing if the program was firing on all cylinders and we could look back at a proven track record of success. We've got a coin flip right now, that will probably get back to the % of the SSP eventually, but thats not a sales pitch. The sales pitch is the $$$.

If the company wants to talk flow, or a surefire handshake (psa to American style) interview, then lets waste negotiating time and capital on it. Meanwhile, lets focus on things that help us today:
-get the shuttle back
-Pay increases while we can still trade for them (since growth isnt coming)
-Get control over the reserve grid, and i know we'll never set levels, but if they're gonna pretend they need 65 resever pilots a day, when there's only 40 pilots planned to be on staff, then there should be 25 p1+p2 reserve slots paying at 150%.
-get the shuttle back (emphasis)
-remove scheduling from the partial add drops too, flica for the pilots, if its contractual then no manual stopages on FLICA.

There's a ton out there to go after, i think the union said on the last conf call theres 25 or 30 strategic objectives. If the NYC pilots are fed up with co domicile and our reserve pilots are gonna be fed to the nyc public transit and the Uber bait and switch, lets disassemble it. We tried it, we don't get enough out of it.
