First of all, BLS for Pulitzer.
Secondly, if today was any reflection of yesterday, yesterday’s wild event is totally understandable. Dispatcher had us at 210 to avoid the MOD SIGMETed SFC-180 and MOD/SEV 180-380 all the way from SEA-SNA. 210 sucked, so we asked center for better. We ended up taking 290 to get over and around a thunder storm. 290 was perfectly smooth until we got rocked suddenly before the descent. Fortunately, because of the SIGMETs, we had the FS sign on ahead of time. Weirdly, we had SIGMETs (caca textual ones). It seems our homies yesterday were not so endowed with the infos.
Note: anyone who suggests the pilots were negligent is either a troll or a leech lawyer.
Cool story, bro.
