If you were to get hired today, and retire in February of 2049 at age 65, and nothing dramatic changes the industry trajectory, you would probably retire as #700 or so, unless I did my math wrong. In other words, there are currently about 700 pilots younger than 35 currently on the list. That would mean you would probably get at least 2 or 3 years as a WB Captain before it was all over, and if you include our 757/767 Category, you could probably be captain on that for more than 10 years. Of course, by that time, those planes will be retired and we will have a different mix of airplanes, so you never know.

And if you live in or are willing to commute to NYC, you will get a few more years in that seat.
