On the MBE page on APA site:

"A pilot cannot exchange into a bid status where he or she will be the most junior pilot. Thus, a mutual exchange cannot result in a new, more junior pilot in either one of the two statuses involved in the exchange".

It shows in red with an * if you are too junior to hold a position and MBE will be disregarded.

13776 is junior MBE transfer and 13778 is most junior in status on APA site it looks like (as of End of January). Now 13778 is gone for Feb and beyond. If 13776 truly was the bottom it shouldn't have been allowed. Maybe it went through while 13778 was still showing junior pilot so that guy barely snuck in before it was too late? Lucky he made it just in time I guess. He couldn't do it now.

MBE works great if you can hold the spot. More people should use it.
