Just to build on what Thrust said... Your resume needs to look like other RJ guys hired at FedEx or you need something else.
The Mil guys in my new hire class were all Instructors and Evaluators except for me and I was an ACMI Captain in addition to my mil PIC.
The RJ guys were all Instructors, Check Airmen or Chief Pilots.
The ACMI guys all had a Boeing Type. Some had an MD Type too.
Most had PIC in a Boeing.
All of my new hire class had a degree and 1000 PIC. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR REGIONAL UNTIL YOU HAVE 1000 PIC. Don't do it. You could get a job at Atlas with 1,500 and a heart beat right now. You'll struggle to get out without that PIC.
However... If you get the PIC and can't get into the training department then I bet you'd only spend a year at an ACMI carrier before being picked up. So look at ATI, ABX, Atlas, Omni, Kalitta, Western Global, Amerijet.... etc AFTER you get your 1,000 PIC.
