So, did you just operate a 15 hour flight? You’ll get paid for 4.85 hours.
Did you work a 14 hour reserve period? You’ll get paid for 4.85 hours.
Did you have a day that was 20 hours of operating/deadheading? You’ll get paid 4.85
A duty rig would pay for your hours on duty, say one for two. Works good for short legs and a lot of sitting in between. A trip rig starts when you leave your base and ends when you return to base. Since Atlas's rig also covers sitting reserve we call it Calculated Rig Time.
