Haaa... "Emirates is reducing flights due to the pilot shortage"!!

Laughable and every American pilot who has been over (like your's truly for 7.5 years) knows differently.... The supposed pilot shortage is due to them treating their pilot corp like absolutely slave labor! A380 captains flying over 100 hours a month. I've seen their schedules as recent as last month (Jan 2019). Long haul, min 2 days rest and then at it again. 20 on 10 off with big time zone changes.

Their shortage is ONLY due to no one wanting to work given those conditions.

Honestly, no sour grapes here, just facts. When I joined them in 2008, they had 400 American pilots which was the 2nd largest pilot group behind the Brits. Today, a decade later, it's probably below 20 total Americans there.
