Yeah this is ridiculous. I have heard exactly zero complaints on the line other than from the uninformed who don’t understand how to read the contract. Most everybody that I’ve spoken to at all seniority levels in LAS seems to be begging for PBS to kick in for some much needed relief from our currently horrendous rigs. Not to mention the side benefit of actually having some say in when you go to training. Seriously... our line bidding is garbage. Even with the paid transition conflict it was a total PITA from a QOL standpoint if you had a family with specific dates you needed off. I used to bid transition conflict all the time as a senior FO because you’ve got to play the game but I hated every minute of it. I’ll trade line bidding + transition conflict for PBS, better rigs, and the ability to bid on training all day everyday. As a commuter I am counting down the days until PBS. As far as the 4 days off goes, I was always in favor of trading it for a higher min day off per month but I guess you’ve got to throw some red meat to the base in order to get the thing to pass.

The "red meat" was the "retro" and pay increase. Unfortunately it was aged in an Allsups bathroom.
