Last summer I was flying from BA from JFK-LHR. In the climbout we were struck by lightning. The Italian girl next to me had a similar reaction and started praying the "hail mary's." I tried to assure her things were gonna be okay...but you can only do so much when people are borderline psychotic.

On my post flight there was a guy educating all of the other passengers about airplanes while waiting for their plane-side bags, talking about how fast they go.
