Ending because the program served its purpose. It was a stop gap while we waited for all the new hires to get hours so they could upgrade. The company now feels it has enough Captains or soon to be Captains ready to go. Makes more sense to just upgrade from within rather than pay the DEC's.
The company is assuming the RTP pilots will stick around and upgrade to Captain. I predict the RTP pilots make the jump to an LCC as soon as they can. I just met an Osprey guy with 300 hours on property get hired by Frontier. I am sending apps as well.
