With seniority you can get that many days off or maybe at a hideous junior base and still have a descent paycheck, but that isn't the case for those I know at UA and AA who are rather junior. Southwest is the only one I know about that one can fairly quickly get reasonable pay for minimum of days worked. I admit I don't know anyone at Delta so maybe it is different there, but I have my doubts.
