If that trip is less than 2 weeks then one could use BV days in year 2, if they chose to put all of their days in BV.
No big deal. I blended the questions being asked into needing a month off. Who knows what the guy needs

We basically have the option to work a lot (pick-up trips), or work very little (with OCV).
It takes a lot of seniority to have a small amount of schedule flexibility here. We can't even split trips on the trip board. It's an all or nothing system. At least its better than what we had before, but it compares poorly to other airlines.
