I get it. It's a shiny new jet. It's pretty. Has fancy automatic systems.
But, sorry to break it to you - the world doesn't revolve around it.

I personally know of many pilots who are now at major airlines that were never typed in ANY jet before getting there....in fact, most of them flew only turboprops before moving on to the major.
And, amazingly enough - they got hired!
