Honestly, there is some talk of eventually closing SFO. There are some savings to be garnered by having fewer bases. That being said, I think it is slightly more likely to remain open and begin to transition 3-4 years from now.
Taking on a significant amount of debt will have an impact on stock price. You have to announce something like that when you have proven your equation correct. Simple enough?
