Probably as the push on cost control will not subside. The future holds the possibility of the US adopting some form of formal MPL rating. We are almost there anyway. 250/25 + RJ course is getting pretty close to what the MPL is all about. I could see something at the community college level; a two year program that culminates in an MPL degree or private trade schools.

In any case you will find most here will recommend a 4 year college degree in something OTHER than aviation. Something you like to do. Something you can do if you medical out. Something that pays a livable wage. Something where the supply of applicants does not outstrip the demand. Something to fall back on when and if you decide to throw in the towel.
