Given how much of the appeal for Compass has been "west coast bases" I don't see how attractive commuting to PHL would be to someone who lives in LAX, SEA, or PHX. Granted, guys commuting from LAS I'm sure would jump at the opportunity to eventually be living in base, but I'm guessing a lot of locals in Compass bases would be tempted to hold out for Alaska, American, Delta, United, UPS, or FedEx (for LAX guys), American or Southwest for those in PHX, and Alaska or Delta for those in SEA. Of course guys who are commuting are probably much more easy to persuade to take the flow, but none of Frontier's bases are shared with Compass, so you're definitely commuting to one of those places if you don't decide to move.

I know when I was at Compass, I told myself things had to get quite bad to decide to jump ship for anything less than a "career airline" where I could happily see myself retire from at 65 or whatever age I am when the robots take over.
