To each their own. I bid EWR 756 FO on purpose 4 years ago this month in new hire class. Transferred to DCA after 3 months. Haven’t regretted it for a minute. I came from left seat 737 and RJ flying before. Love the international and transcon flying. Only thing that’s even tempting about bidding a narrow body CA position is the $$. Reserve was easy. Line holding too. Great overnights either way.
I understand SFO/LAX/DEN bases have it different.
I wish y’all on here would stop poisoning the 756 for new hires. They can read all the pros and cons and decide for themselves. Don’t preload them that life will be miserable.
