Well obviously I didn't know that.
I originally sent out my apps to most of the regionals, expecting the FO route, then CommutAir and Envoy both contacted me about the DEC positions and threw everything out of whack.
Now I'm just thoroughly confused as what to do. lol
QOL is what you want. I wouldn’t care about which aircraft I’m flying or if I upgrade in almost immediately or it takes a year or so. If you are miserable going to work and it starts effecting your marriage, time with kids, health, etc from commuting just to sit around, it’s not worth it. A word of caution. Read up on Envoys reserve life. They are pretty miserable there especially if you will be a DEC in NYC for 2 years.
