Default OPT

Hey there, IR pilot in training here with a little under 200 hours finishing commercial with a local flight school, as well as a college degree. I work as an allegiant customer rep for an FBO that is contracted by Allegiant. Today a captain was chatting with me between turns and mentioned to me the Organizational Pilot Transition program, that essentially stated that with 2 years of full time employment with Allegiant or a service provider as well as 1500 hours, Allegiant would interview for a first officer position. My question is how likely is this interview to turn into a job? Also do service providers actually count for the employment requirement? And more likely the question is what is the prospect of upgrading or working as a pilot for allegiant. I apologize in advance if this information is already out there, however it seems this OPT program is new and seems there must be some catch. Thanks again.
