In December, my wife had a procedure in the hospital that cost just over $20,000.
The insurance agreed upon allowance (hospital is in network) was $8,900.
We paid a $100 copay.

Same hospital as I used before for our babies, my wife's heart problems and my appendectomy and black widow spider bite. The new provider is not as good.
I also had a shoulder repair on the left shoulder a number of years ago...total was the $150 surgical copay. This next one I just had has cost me over $400 so far. Yes I am working with the union and Health Advocate/Quantum on these.
