Or has it been common in the past to get a contract signed before this date? Historically, when have negotiations started?
Bastian was asked, during a conference with investors, if he thought there would be a deal with ALPA this year. He gave an honest answer. The amendable date is the end of the year. We are telegraphing we want everything and will not be rushed. If Ed had said we would have deal this year, I would thought he was not paying attention.
