Ouch. Sucks for him. Even guys getting hired today are already way behind the wave even with the upcoming retirements. We've already hired 4,000+ in the last 4+ years. I agree. Don't wait around for 3 yrs for an interview guarantee. Seniority is everything. Apply and try to get on with any of the legacies as soon as you can.
