PDT sucks. F9 sucks less. F9 opened a PHL base. PDT pilots don't suck, so many quickly realized they'll make more career money switching to F9 now than waiting five to ten years to flow to AA.
Frontier/Spirit have everything to gain by hiring Piedmont pilots. Pilots already flying jets, and a chance to damage the regional setup in PHL that AA operates. AA needs to cease the neglect, or it's going to be extremely costly soon.
