Let me tell you a little story about our sure thing PHX base that never happened. We were days away from announcing the new base in PHX. The chief pilots were told PHX, there were agreements with the airport for a crew and pretty much everything was set in stone. That week the big wigs went out to lunch and came back and decided to switch it to Vegas at the last minute because it would be cheaper for them. That’s how these guys operate. They go back and forward on an idea and make a concrete decision at the very last second usually based on cost. Moral of the story is RDU and AUS are front runners forsure but we don’t know which one it will be or if it’s something else because even the people making the decisions are not sure yet.
