I hate this "requirement" or question from recruiters. I'm a damn pilot, not a social worker or politician. Their only concern should be if you're a safe, competent pilot and a likeable person that others would enjoy working with.
How about this answer to the recruiter. "I have 11 days off a month at home. I take care of my family and my home in those precious few days. I don't have the damn time to be Mother Teresa, okay."
"Ok well I think that's all we have. We'll call you, don't call us. Thank you for your time".
And that's why you'll never work for a legacy airline.
