Yes, we have a min 5 hour duty period (not day) rig. However, if the trip is modified by a pilot, for example a pilot splits off a 4 hour turn from the beginning or end of a bigger trip, the rig will not apply and that duty period will only pay the 4 hours.
Just to clarify, this is slightly misleading. We have a 5 hour AVERAGE minimum credit per duty period. So, a two day trip with 8 hours of credit on the first day and 2 hours on the second day would only pay 10 hours - not 13.
