Well...had there been more support for the non-contracts to unionize and negotiate their own profit sharing then maybe things would be a bit different no?

There's this flawed mentality that by the pilot group will get more by keeping other groups from unionizing. The company has many convinced that if others are able to negotiate and possibly get a bigger piece of pie that the pilots slice will get smaller...but the whole point of collective bargaining is to make the entire pie bigger...not steal it from the other workers.

Something that still baffles me is how awful the medical options for Delta pilots are compared to the rest of the industry. The DPMP is a standard plan but the premiums are about double what they should be.
