Thanks guys for the replies, and feedback, it's appreciated. Sometimes these questions get raised in your mind. I'm not bad where I am but really want to move back to the U.S and stop living on suitcases. I'll be patient a while longer but eventually may start looking at some other companies if need be.

Also, for reference, I’m a US resident married to a US citizen and had almost 9 years of US 121 experience, in addition to 3000hours flying 73’s around Australia and SE Asia. The whole “only FAR121” experience requirement is BS. As long as you’re flying a commercial aircraft in ops equivalent to 121, you’re good to go.

I came from EK (did nearly 7 years there) and was prior regional before that, lots of us here that flew overseas. I also know several that went to DL and lots at UPS as well. Thanks guys, how did it look like going about PRIA requests or background checks etc? Anything out of the ordinary or did things easily fall into place? Did they request docs from the country/countries you were living?
